Passion for the Ocean - How to reach different target groups with the same call to action?
Passion for the Ocean is an advertising series about interesting people living along the coast of Western Norway. The series was produced in collaboration with Fjord Norway, and we created several different films tailored for predetermined target groups, with the main goal of inspiring people to visit the coast of Western Norway.

Jake Crumbleholme moved from a big city in England to the small surf village of Stadt for love, and now works as a surf instructor.
Ronny Ødegaard Kolvik had worked for many years and achieved great success at a top restaurant in Oslo. Now he has moved back home to Ålesund to build "Food City Ålesund".
Jan Thomas Rantaniitty currently works as a Tech CMO for an American company. In his spare time, he runs a community-oriented eco-lodge on Karmøy.
Rutt-Lovise Strand runs a small yoga studio in Måløy and is passionate about helping people experience the vital connection between the coast and body, mind, and well-being.
Kari Schibevaag is an 8-time world champion in kiting and has traveled the world. She now runs a water sports center in Jæren, which, according to Kari, boasts some of the world's finest beaches.
Line Nicolaysen, who currently lives in Oslo, bought an old boathouse far out on the open sea in Smøla and loves to showcase Norway's rich coastal history.
Challenge:
As part of their summer campaigns, Fjord Norway wanted to showcase a number of coastal gems along the Western Norwegian coast in an engaging and inspiring way. Something that stood out from typical drone films with music laid over them. They also had six different target groups they wanted to reach with the advertising series.
Solution:
It was clear that we needed compelling stories as a backdrop for the commercials. To reach the right segment of the target audience, we found interesting individuals who matched the target group based on age, interests, and location. We timed the weather as best as possible to capture idyllic environmental shots from the areas.
Result:
The films have been promoted internationally and nationally, and in addition to trailers and main films, various social media versions and compilation films were also produced. Most versions have achieved up to a 65% view rate and have contributed to a significant increase in brand awareness for Fjord Norway.
